production diary

In the first week i have completed my research plan, collected and annotated my research and researched similar products in the market

In the second week i have done my mood board, spiderdiagram and scripts along with the risk assesments budgets and a meeting with the crew. i also created some questionnaires which i handed out for people to fill in and return to me so i could make my video more professional

in the third week i drew out what was going to happen on a storyboard, planned the time of filming on my schedule, i also filled out the budget for the filming equipment and directer and cast.

In the fourth week i completed the crew and equipment list.

Filming
On the 17th of november i planned to film my production but later had to change the date to the 21st as my cast cancelled on me at the last moment on this day all of the filming was completed.

Editing
On the 23rd of November i started editing my production, i used the programe Premiar pro to edit my project, i also imported music from Freeplaymusic to add to my production to give the trailer its horror effect i completed all of my editing by the 13th of december.

On the 8th of january 2013 i uploaded my finished video to YouTube.

The shot quality of the finished video is very good as i mainly used Close ups and medium shots as well as a pan .

Skills that i have gained whilst creating this film trailer include editing skills and camera skills which will help me in the future as i would like to become a cameraman for films/TV shows and the news.
